Guests to Myrtle Cottage often ask where they can see the Bottlenose Dolphins who live in the Moray Firth.
The best place is across on the north shore of the Firth, at Chanonry Point, opposite Fort George.
You might combine this with a trip to Loch Ness, or venture further into the Black Isle and the delightful town of Cromarty and the smallest ferry in Britain, the two car Nigg Ferry.
