Bioneers Conference at Findhorn

This looks like a fascinating conference. Go to the Findhorn Foundation website and take a look at the list of speakers. October 30th 2010 for 4 days. The article below is replicated from the Findhorn Foundation website:

The Findhorn Foundation, in collaboration with Findhorn College, is pleased to present the successful Bioneers movement from North America, bringing inspiration from ‘the heart of nature’ to Europe.

It’s all alive. It’s all connected. It’s all intelligent…

Founder Kenny Ausubel coined the word bioneers in 1990 to describe an emerging culture of social and scientific innovators who are mimicking nature’s operating instructions to serve human ends while healing nature. Bioneers take a “solve-the-whole-problem” approach: taking care of nature means taking care of people – and taking care of people means taking care of nature. For more than twenty years Bioneers have promoted practical environmental solutions and innovative social strategies for restoring Earth’s imperiled ecosystems and healing our human communities.

The Bioneers movement unites people from all walks of life, people of heart and mindfulness, inspiring the shifts to living on Earth in ways that honour the web of life, each other and future generations.

The network of innovators and activists that is the growing Bioneers movement and the work of the Findhorn Foundation community are natural allies – developing and demonstrating practical and peaceful solutions for the challenges facing our human society today.

We celebrate this first opportunity to work together, hosting a gathering focusing on effective, constructive and positive responses to our need to support sustainable and resilient lifestyles – for all the peoples of our planet.

We invite you to join us at Europe’s first Bioneers conference. Bring your own stories. Be inspired by the plenary speakers. Share your wisdom and experience in the afternoon workshops. Connect, so that we can build a strong Bioneers network in Europe.
